Pighes White   Pighes White is quarried in Greece, where ithas been used for hundreds of years. This stone is taken from anarea near the village of Piges, hence the name. Pighes white comesin a variety of shades and hues, with the highest quality beingnearly pure white and pale. As the quality of the marble descends,it becomes shades of off white or gray and dark veinsappear.
